I'm Rachel. I created a fintech's accessible design system from scratch and I'm leading the app's migration onto it. I design in code, write the tooling my developers use to check front-end quality, and ship UI to production.

Built a fintech's component library from scratch on MUI and Material 3, moved design from Figma into Storybook, and wrote the Claude Code commands that build and check it.

How I work with AI

Claude is part of every stage, and I make every call on what ships.

    Discover

    I watch real users, audit the product with Claude and turn what I find into a plan, often in a day.

  2. 02

    Design in code

    I prototype on the real design system in Storybook and Claude artifacts, not in static files.

  3. 03

    Set the standard

    I designed the Claude Code workflow the team uses to create, review and migrate UI, and I review every UI pull request.

  4. 04

    Ship safely

    Changes go out with backups, dry runs and checks, so moving fast doesn't mean breaking things.

This portfolio is a case study too.

I designed it and built it with Claude Code: the type scale, colour tokens, spacing and components are my own, and every page meets WCAG 2.1 AA. It's the same way I work day to day, deciding the design and directing Claude to build it in code.
